Le Manoir de Canet d’Aude is a very grand and sympathetically restored ‘Belle Epoque’ Maison de Maitre or Master’s Mansion House of the ‘Beautiful Era’ based in the Languedoc, South of France, near Narbonne and 5 minutes from the Canal du Midi.

It was built in 1830 as a show of influence for the wealthiest local landowner and wine producer in the area.

The holiday home boasts an internal dimension of over 550 sq meters. This very spacious house is perfect for relaxing multi-generational holidays. Its flexible accommodation suits larger groups or multiple families, while you simply relax in all the space and grandeur while taking in the French ambiance.

The courtyard, garden, and swimming area are a haven of privacy.

The imposing main façade is of quarried sandstone with a curved stone balustrade and staircase rising to the front terrace – A very popular spot for evening drinks, overlooking the sheltered front courtyard, which provides a private outdoor dining area and summer kitchen and BBQ area leading off from the main kitchen.

The house is surrounded by large gardens at the edge of a village within walking distance of everything that the village offers.

We specialize in ‘Quality Multi-Generational Holidays here at Le Manoir’ for both Family & Friends. The perfect place to come to experience The Languedoc and South Western France and relax in comfort.

Unfortunately due to our village location, we cannot cater for weddings or stag, wag, or hen parties.

Our gîte is not accessible to people with reduced mobility
